New developments in ATF Fast and Furious scandal

government have brought new attention to the three year old scandal that wholesale nfl jerseys rocked the Obama administration. Attorney General Eric Holder was held in contempt of Congress for refusing to cooperate with a congressional investigation into the scandal.

But according to Katie Pavlich of Townhall, two new developments that occurred during the past week threaten to resurrect the scandal as a matter of concern for Congress, particularly wholesale nba jerseys the House. House of Representatives never closed its investigation into Fast and Furious due to the failure of the Justice Dept. to turn over subpoenaed records to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. government by the family of slain Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was dismissed by a federal court.

 

Terry was killed with one of the 2,500 guns the ATF had deliberately walked into Mexico to give to drug cartels in its now infamous Operation Fast and Furious.

 

In addition, Attorney General Holder issued a motion to appeal a federal Dt5FW6a9x judge's ruling to uphold the citation of contempt of Congress against him. At issue is Holder's failure to deliver to cheap jerseys Congress subpoenaed documents that the Justice Dept. Circuit of the District Court of Appeals which has a history of ruling in favor of Holder and the Justice Dept.

 

To date, the Obama administration has offered no plausible explanation as to why two Fast and Furious guns were found at the crime scene of Agent Terry's murder nor why executive privilege is a plausible excuse for Holder's refusal to open government records into the scandal to that led to the murder.
